Neuroscience specialist and founder of Axon Study. I created this platform because I know how overwhelming university neuroscience can be.

Academic background
I hold an MSc in Cognitive Neuroscience and have spent several years working alongside undergraduate and postgraduate students at UK universities. My research has touched on synaptic plasticity, memory consolidation, and the neurological underpinnings of learning — which means I don't just teach the syllabus, I understand the science behind why learning is hard.
Before Axon Study, I worked as a private tutor and demonstrator, helping students from UCL, King's College London, the University of Manchester, and the University of Edinburgh. Across hundreds of sessions, the same problems kept appearing: students who were bright and motivated but who simply didn't have enough support outside of lectures.
Why I started Axon Study
University neuroscience is genuinely hard. The content is dense, the lectures are fast, and the gap between "I attended the lecture" and "I understand this well enough to pass the exam" is enormous. Most students navigate that gap alone, with a textbook and a lot of anxiety. I wanted to close it. Axon Study is the structured, human support system that should have existed from the start.
